Team Retreat Activity
The team retreat activity that opens every door.
PairPops creates a custom matching game featuring your team's faces — the retreat activity that gets the room warm in fifteen minutes. The brainstorming, the workshops, and the dinners all run better when the day starts with a game your team is already in.
Why it works
Start the retreat right and everything else follows.
The first 30 minutes set the tone.
How a retreat opens determines how every session after it lands. Start warm — with a game where your people are the content — and the workshops, the brainstorming, and the dinners all run better.
No facilitation, no dead air.
PairPops explains itself in ten seconds. You don't need someone at the front of the room. The game runs on its own, and the conversation it starts spills into the rest of the day.
It works for teams that think they already know each other.
Most retreats bring together people who've worked together for years but still can't name everyone's spouse or hometown. A game with photos surfaces the details people actually remember.
It travels well.
The branded tin is compact and durable. Pack it in the event bag, pull it out at dinner, play another round at the airport. A retreat activity that travels with the team earns its keep.
Use cases
Four retreat moments where it lands.
Retreat opening activity
Run PairPops before the first session. By the time the agenda starts, the room already feels like a team. That energy carries through the entire retreat.
Dinner icebreaker
Drop a set on each table at the retreat dinner. It fills the gap between ordering and talking about work — and surfaces the kind of personal moments that stick.
Cross-functional offsites
When you bring together people from different departments or locations, the game closes the gap quickly. Everyone in the room is already in the game.
Annual company retreat
Order a fresh set each year with updated team photos. A yearly game with this year's faces becomes a tradition worth looking forward to.

FAQ
Common questions.
How early before the retreat should we order?
Production takes 5–7 business days from proof approval. Let us know your retreat date when you reach out and we'll confirm the timeline so it arrives in time.
How many people can play at once?
PairPops works for 2–8+ players per set. For larger retreats, order multiple sets and run tables simultaneously — no waiting, everyone plays at once.
What photos should we use?
Team headshots work well. If you want to make it more personal, mix in candid shots, pet photos, or inside-joke images. Tell us what vibe you're going for and we'll advise on the layout.
Can we include remote team members who won't be at the retreat?
Yes. Putting remote teammates in the game is a great way to make them feel included even when they can't be there in person. Their photos go on the discs alongside everyone else.
Is it reusable?
Yes. The discs and tin hold up well. Many teams bring the same game to multiple events throughout the year.
Can we customize the tin for the retreat?
Yes. Your company logo goes on the tin lid. You can also include event-specific artwork or the retreat theme if you'd like. Reach out with what you have in mind.
