Employee Onboarding

The onboarding game that makes new hires feel like they belong.

PairPops turns your team's photos into a matching game new hires play on day one. Real faces. Real names. No awkward icebreaker prompts — just connection that happens naturally.

Why it works

Connection built before the first meeting.

New hires learn names, not just faces.

When someone's photo is on every disc, new employees connect names to faces before the first team meeting. Walking into a room of strangers feels different when you've already played a game with them.

No awkward icebreaker questions.

Nobody has to answer "what's your superpower?" The game creates conversation on its own — through laughter, competition, and a healthy amount of shouting names across the table.

It works for remote teams too.

Ship a game to a new hire's home before their start date. By the time they join their first video call, they already know who everyone is.

A first-day gift they actually keep.

Discs end up on desks, in bags, at home. A new hire who keeps your game is a new hire who feels they belong somewhere worth remembering.

The process

Ready before the first day. Three steps.

1

Send us your team photos

Headshots or any clear image where faces are visible. We'll send a simple checklist after you reach out.

2

We design and send a proof

Our team builds the layout — every disc, every pairing arranged so your whole team is represented. You review before anything prints.

3

You approve, we ship

Nothing prints without your sign-off. Production and shipping takes 5–7 business days — arrive before the start date.

Use cases

Every onboarding moment it fits.

First-day welcome gift

Hand PairPops to new hires alongside their laptop and badge. It signals from the first hour that this is a team, not just a headcount.

Onboarding lunch activity

Replace the awkward onboarding lunch with 15 minutes of PairPops. New hires leave knowing names. The team leaves feeling like they helped someone land.

Remote pre-boarding package

Ship a game to new hires before their start date. By day one, they're not logging into a room of strangers — they're joining a team they recognize.

Large cohort onboarding

Hiring a whole class of new grads or a cohort of 20? PairPops scales. Everyone's face goes in the game. Order enough sets and every table plays at once.

Upload a few photos and we'll create a personalized game preview — no commitment needed.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can we include the new hire's photo in the game?

Yes. If you know who's joining in advance, their photo can go in the game too. It's a powerful signal: you were expected, and you belong here.

What photos do we need from the team?

Standard headshots work well. We'll send a checklist after you request your free mockup — it covers size, format, and how to collect them from your team efficiently.

How many employees can fit in one game?

It depends on your disc count and configuration. Contact us with your team size and we'll advise on the best setup for your onboarding group.

Can we order in bulk for recurring onboarding cohorts?

Absolutely. Many companies order a batch and restock when needed. We can also update the game with new photos as your team grows — just reach out before each run.

How long before the start date should we order?

Production takes 5–7 business days from proof approval. If you have a specific start date, tell us when you reach out and we'll confirm the timeline.

Can we add our company logo?

Yes. Your logo goes on the tin lid and can appear on a dedicated branding disc. The game looks intentional, not like a generic welcome kit filler.
